The College of Education & Public Service has numerous scholarships which assist students in funding their education. Generous support from alumni and friends have established these funds. To add your financial support to these funds, write the name of the fund on the memo section or your check, or type in the name of the fund on the online giving form.

For more information about these funds, please contact the Stewardship Office at 314.977.3145. If you are a student seeking financial aid, please direct all questions regarding the awarding of scholarships to the Office of Financial Aid. The Advancement Division does not award scholarships.

Helen M. Skinner Endowed Scholarship Provides financial assistance to a female student pursuing a degree in education.
Adelaide G. Heverly Welge Scholarship Provides financial assistance to a junior or senior commuter student in the Department of Education who is a resident of south St. Louis City, preferably a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Bank of America Endowed Scholarship Provides financial assistance to a graduate of Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory School who pursues a degree in K-12 education.
Catholic Educational Leadership Scholarship Fund Provides financial assistance for Catholic graduate students who intend to go into leadership positions in Catholic schools.
Cathy Golden Special Education Scholarship Provides financial assistance to graduate students in the College of Public Service who are training to work with severely handicapped children or adults. Established by Mary Pat Golden, sister of Cathy Golden.
College of Public Service Endowed Scholarship Provides financial assistance to a student in the College of Public Service.
Donald P Sprengel Scholarship Provides financial assistance to a student in the Department of Public Policy Studies.
Dr. Carol Kahler Scholarship Fund Provides financial assistance to graduate students in the Education Department
Fr. James Cormack, C.M. Study of Poverty Provides financial assistance for graduate students who wish to study the systemic causes and solutions of poverty.
Jack Buck Endowed Scholarship Provides financial assistance for undergraduate students pursuing a teaching degree in special education with preference to those with learning or physical disabilities and 3.0 GPA. Established by the Missouri Athletic Club in honor of Jack Buck.
McCormack Baron UPRED Fellows Award Provides financial assistance to a student in the Urban Planning and Real Estate Design program, with preference given to a student with a minority background.
Norma D. (Talley) Bracken Memorial Fund Provides financial assistance to a student in the College of Public Service who is an active member of the Black Student Alliance and from the St. Louis City area.
Rehab Choice Scholarship Provides financial assistance to students in the Department of Communication Disorders.
UPRED Scholarship Provides financial assistance to a student in the Urban Planning and Real Estate Design program.
Urban Planning/Real Estate Scholarship Provides financial assistance to graduate students in the Urban Planning and Real Estate Program.
Welge Scholarship-Mathematics Education Provides financial assistance to a junior or senior commuter student in the Department of Education pursing a career in secondary math education.
